Puppets and Private Eyes | 2024
Production Designer, Puppet Designer | Dumpstat Podcast
This project was a DND Podcast for Dumpstat Productions. I worked with our writers and players to help each puppet fit its character's style and personality. Designs were inspired by The Muppets and similar puppet creations, with exaggerated features and oversized proportions. Each puppet had its own color scheme to separate them from one another and the set. My final designs were then given to our Puppet Builder/ Fabricator, Tristan Casto, to bring them to life!

Our set was a combination of a mail room and detective "murder board." We used cardboard, papers, string, and newspaper scraps to combine these visuals. I designed stamps, package labels, and artwork to hang and stick to our set giving it more detail and texture.
Throughout filming our set changed with the story. As the mansion within the DND campaign became overtaken by foliage I filled the set with vines and plants. I also added additional string and scraps of paper hanging from the wall to represent the rising conspiracies within the story.
