"Unable to suppress a traumatic death, a young woman goes on runs to avoid confronting her past until she is lead back to the root of it all."
I worked as Production Designer on this Columbia BFA Thesis project. This story followed the same house and main character in two main time periods. To represent this we planned out how each part of the house would change to show its separate owners and their living styles. In the past the house was more clean and organized with lots of plants and family photos. In modern day it is crowded and hoarder like, with boxes and papers littering the ground. Our protagonist completely changed color schemes and styles, wearing stripes and colorful clothes as a child then dark monotone outfits as an adult. My team and I prepared props and set dec to represent these changes
