Production
I worked as Production Designer on this Columbia BFA Thesis. For this project we converted our location into a half packed up house with a living room prepped for painting. We used this set dec plan to control the large amounts of blood on our actress and floors.
I tested and mixed blood, creating a recipe that would look realistic while drying faster to create the affect our story needed. My crew and I oversaw blood and costuming, ensuring our actress was comfortable and assisted in changing out costumes for breaks. We followed safety procedures and provided the same help when wrapping our actor in tarp and blood for his death scene.
